Jose Peseiro praises Victor Osimhen on historic Italian title win with Napoli

Head coach of the Nigeria national team, Jose Peseiro has heaped praises on Victor Osimhen for his historic season with Napoli.

Peseiro joined millions of football fans across the world in praising the Super Eagles forward after he won the Scudetto for Napoli on Thursday night.

Osimhen scored his historic 22nd goal of the season to ensure a 1-1 draw at Udinese and hand Napoli its first diadem since Diego Maradona’s era in 1990.

While speaking on the performance of the 24-year-old, the Portuguese gaffer insisted that the striker has goal in his blood.

“Victor Osimhen is one of the best strikers at the moment,’ Peseiro told Tuttomercatoweb.com.

“The goal is in Victor’s blood even though he is still very young. He knows how to score in every way, and he knows everything else too.

“He presses continuously, he is physical, and he plays for the team and himself. Osimhen and Napoli have done something amazing this year.”
