Joy Bokiri breaks goal duck in Hapoel Beer Sheva’s big loss to Kishronot Hadera

Former Bagels Queens player and Nigeria junior international, Joy Bokiri scored her first goal for Israeli women’s league side, Hapoel Beer Sheva despite her side succumbed to a 6-1 loss to Maccabi Kishronot Hadera on Thursday.
Kishronot Hadera raced to a 3-0 halftime lead thanks to goals from Biton Hodaya, Sofer Samer, and Nabweteme Sandra.
Joy Bokiri, however reduced the deficit for Andrea Bercholc’s side at the hour mark.
Three minutes later, Nabweteme scored her second goal of the game to restore David Barkalifa’s side’s three-goal lead.
A brace from Crim Jaylen in the 82nd and 92nd minutes respectively ensured a 6-1 win for Maccabi Kishronot Hadera.
Bokiri played full 90 minutes for Hapoel Beer as she scored her first goal for the team. Her Nigerian compatriot, Chidinma Okeke also played for the duration of the game for the same team.
Hapoel Beer Sheva occupy the bottom of the table with 17 points after 21 games.
