Nigeria forward, Juliet Adebowale-Arimoro has joined English Women’s Championship side, Sheffield United from English Football Association (FA) National League side, London Bees.

Adebowale-Arimoro, 20, joined the Bess at the start of last season after some seasons in the Brighton and Hove Albion Academy.

She had an experience in the Championship with Watford in 2022 on a dual sign agreement.

Arimoro has impressed during pre-season, scoring in the team’s friendly against Blackburn Rovers in July and again against Liverpool Feds.

Capped at Under-20 level for Nigeria, the young forward is delighted to be joining the club as a new season grows ever closer.

“I’m really happy. This is a great club to be at and I think it will improve my career,” Arimoro told the club website.

“It’s different, a different city for me but it’s been good. Training has been good, I’ve gained a lot of experience in the pre-season games and the girls have been really good. It feels like home, it’s been nice.”

The Nigerian is joining a team that finished eighth in the second-tier English women’s league side last season with 27 points in 22 games.

The team will start their league campaign against Charlton on August 27, 2023.
