Jurgen Klopp praises Sadio Mane in the wake of Bayern Munich interest

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has praised Sadio Mane in the wake of reported interest from Bayern Munich.
Reports emerged earlier in the week that Mane’s representative had met Bayern bosses in Munich recently without the knowledge of the Reds as he looks for a new challenge.
Mane’s entourage believes that the player deserves to be one of the highest earners in the club something that Liverpool isn’t willing to guarantee; the same move they have placed on Mohamed Salah whose contract negotiations have dragged.
Klopp however chose not to concentrate on the speculations and instead praised the player following his winning goal against Aston Villa which saw them go level with Man City at the top of the Premier League table.
“He’s a machine, I told him after the game. He is a huge player. His physicality is brutal. He is a mix of technique, desire, and physicality when at the moment everyone has a few yards in the legs. You can see it with him, to be honest. Top goal, he is just a fantastic world-class player,” Klopp said to Sky Sports after the game.
The Senagalese contract at Anfield comes to an end in 2023 and Liverpool might be forced to cash on him early should they fail to find an agreement.
