Kabir Dogo promises competitive Kwara United for next NPFL season

By Wale Mustapha
Technical Adviser of Kwara United, Kabir Dogo, has vowed to field a team capable of challenging for honors in the upcoming football season.
Kwara United is currently fine-tuning their preparations at the ongoing ValueJet Preseason tournament in Ikenne, Ogun State. Dogo, who took charge midway through the 2022/2023 NPFL season and successfully helped the team avoid relegation, is optimistic about the new season.
The Harmony Boys are in a rebuilding phase, having conducted a massive clear-out of last season’s squad. Dogo is confident that the newly recruited players will make significant contributions to the team’s success.
“I appeal to all Kwara football lovers to continue supporting Kwara United as we work hard to deliver our best and make the state proud,” Dogo told Adex Sports in Ikenne.
“We are rebuilding a new team, as over 22 players left for other teams last season. We need to strengthen our squad as early as possible to avoid a repeat of last season’s average performance.
“I am impressed with the brilliant display from our young players and believe that with time, they will gel together seamlessly.”
Dogo’s commitment and strategic planning aim to elevate Kwara United’s performance, bringing hope and excitement to the club’s supporters for the new season.
