Kano Pillars shop for new foreign coach on Nigeria Premier League return

Newly promoted Kano Pillars are in the transfer market for a new head coach ahead of the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL season, according to BSN Sports.
The Pyramid Boys returned to the Nigeria top-flight just after a season in the lower division following their relegation from the Nigeria Professional Football League in the 2021/2022 season.
The technical crew led Evans Ogenyi have been dissolved after guiding the club back to the NPFL, having played in the promotion playoffs of the Nigeria National League.
Head of Communication of the club, Lurwanu Idris Malikawa confirmed the dissolution of the former technical crew, added that the development was in line with contractual agreement with club.
The newly inaugurated technical committee of the club led by Engineer Usman Mustapha has however requested interested coaches within and outside Nigeria to submit their applications to the club secretariat on or before 22nd July 2023.
Engr. Mustapha assured the committee would ensure that only qualified coaches with good records are recruited without any sentiment.
