Katsina United gets new interim management committee as Governor sacks Malumfashi’s board

The government of Katsina State has approved the composition of new interim management committee for Katsina United, with Alh Kabir Danlami Rimi popularly known as ‘KADMASH’ to lead the new board.

In a statement signed by Katsina State Commissioner for Sports, Honorable Yusuf Rabiu Jirdede, the new committee will start working immediately following the dissolution of the former board led by Mallam Muhammad Malumfashi.

Jirdede said that the new development becomes necessary as the government is aiming to reconstituting and reinvigorating key institutions for better service delivery.

Other members of new interim management committee for Katsina United are Gaddafi Muhammad Rudwan, Aminu Abdullahi Leno and Abubakar Sani.

Katsina United returned to Nigeria top flight in the current campaign after suffering relegation two seasons ago. They have since played two games in the current Nigeria Premier Football League, winning one and losing the other.

Their next league match is against Lobi Stars at the Mohammed Dikko Stadium in Katsina.
