Kebbi BSC dominate 2023 Nigeria Beach Soccer League Team of the Season

Two players from league Champions, Kebbi BSC made the 2023 Nigeria Beach Soccer League (NBSL) Team of the season.

The team of season which was done by the NBSL Technical Study Group was released on Monday.

Kebbi Fishers’ pair of Godwin Tale (goalkeeper) and Taiwo Adams (defender) who emerged as the most valuable player at the end of the season made the team.

The league’s Rising Star, Hassan Abdullahi from Kebbi United BSC also made the starting team.

Nmanko Patigi BSC’s Adekunle Jamiu and the league’s top goal scorer, Dozie Frank (Kada BSC) with 16 goals completed the starting lineup.

The substitute position was occupied by Arome Isah (Kebbi BSC), Ogunlana Seun (Nmanko Patigi BSC), Hassan Muhammed (Kebbi BSC), Victor Tale (Kada BSC), Usman Bello (Kebbi United BSC), Hamza Manga (Kebbi United BSC), and Ekene Obi (Kebbi BSC).

The league-winning coach, Bashar Samaila Aliyu was voted as the coach of the season.

This will be the first time in the history of the three-season old league that a team of the season will emerge.

Kebbi BSC won the 2021 and 2023 editions of the NBSL with Kada BSC clinching the 2022 title.
