Kelechi Iheanacho provides two assists and scores in Leicester City win over Aston Villa

Nigeria striker Kelechi Iheanacho was a thorn in the flesh of Aston Villa as he scored a goal and provided two assists as Leicester City crush Aston Villa 4-2 in a English Premier League encounter on Sunday.

Iheanacho played a huge role as the Foxes recorded their second English Premier League win of the season after getting their first in November 2022.

The Super Eagles forward made his mark in the 41st minute before providing golden assists in the game before Olie Watkins gave Aston Villa the lead in the ninth minute following a rebound from Emiliano Buendia effort on goal.

James Maddison brought Leicester City back on level terms in the 12th minute following a precious assist from Iheanacho.

Villa stunned Leicester City again to take the lead for the second time when Iheanacho buried a header in the 41st minute to bring Leicester City back on level terms in the contest.

Iheanacho added a fantastic assist for for Tete to give Leicester City a lead for the first time before ennis Praet put the icing on the victory, as he grabbed Leicester fourth goal of the encounter.

Leicester occupy the 14th position in the English Premier League table and have accumulated 21 points from 21 games as t he Foxes are three points away from relegation.
