Kennedy Boboye rallies support for Sunshine Stars as Remo Stars visit Akure

Kennedy Boboye, the Technical Adviser of Sunshine Stars, has made an earnest appeal to fans to show their support in the team’s final home match of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
The Owena Whales are set to face Remo Stars on Sunday in a critical Matchday 37 encounter. Sunshine Stars’ future in the top flight is hanging in the balance, and a victory in this match is vital for their chances of avoiding relegation. A loss or draw could spell doom for the Akure-based club.
Boboye, who has previously managed Remo Stars, highlighted the significant role that fans play in motivating the team, especially during crucial times. He emphasized that fan support is essential for the team’s success in this critical match.
“Our last home match this season is crucial for obvious reasons. I urge the fans to come out in large numbers and cheer us to victory. On our part, we shall deliver,” Boboye stated through the club’s media.
Currently, Sunshine Stars are positioned 15th in the NPFL table with 46 points from 36 games. The support of their fans could be the key to securing the necessary points to ensure their top-flight status for the next season.
