Kennedy Boboye seeks to start Sunshine Stars turnaround with Lobi Stars win

Kennedy Boboye was expectedly waxing lyrical after guiding his Sunshine Stars to their first win the Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL as many game with 2-0 humbling of Lobi Stars on Wednesday.
The Owena Whales have been on four games losing streak dating back to Matchday 17 in the first round.
Boboye who recently took over the reign at the club following the exit of Edith Agoye led the Akure based club to convincing win over Lobi.
The former Abia Warriors and Plateau United gaffer described as perfect response to last weekend’s heavy defeat against Kano Pillars as he promises to make Wednesday’s win as the start of many more decent results for Sunshine.
“I don’t want to talk about the match that much but it’s a testament to a good work and hard work by the players,”

Boboye told newsmen after the match in Akure.
“It’s a perfect way to bounce back after the embarrassing defeat in Kano and traveling all the way to prepare for this match, I think they deserve all the credits.
“It’s the win we’ve all wanted and I believe this will be a turnaround season for Sunshine Stars, we have a good team with dedicated players, we can only build on this and get better.”
Sunshine Stars have moved out of the drop zone with the win after they accrued 26 points from 22 games and will next take on Plateau United in their next fixture.
