KuPS 8-0 IIves: Roosa Ariyo at the double in KuPS’ thrashing of IIves

Nigeria international Roosa Ariyo converted two goals as her Finish Kanasllinen Liiga side, KuPS recorded a whooping 8-0 win against IIves on Saturday.

It took the first three minutes of the match for the Nigerian forward, Ariyo to break the deadlock at the Vare Areena, Kuopio.

In the sixth minute, Gentjana Rochi doubled the lead from Ariyo’s assist before Aino Kroger made it 3-0.

With one minute to the end of the first half, Sanni Kouva set up Ariyo who scored her second goal of the match.

Four more goals followed in the second half of a dominant showing by the host.

Eerika Appelqvist, Kruger, Tuuli Viinikka, and Levdijs Begolli completed the rout for KuPS.

Ariyo, who has scored four goals with an assist in five games, saw 46 minutes of action before she was replaced by Saga Kailkkonen.

KuPS still trailed league leaders HJK by 12 points after 16 games and had a two-point lead over third-placed HPS.
