Kwara United defender Isaiah Ejeh has announced his departure from the club following the conclusion of the 2023/2024 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season.
Ejeh’s exit marks the end of a six-year relationship with the Harmony Boys.
The veteran center-back, who played a pivotal role in guiding Kwara United to a commanding 4-0 win over Heartland on Sunday, expressed his gratitude to the club’s supporters and his teammates for their support throughout his tenure in Ilorin.
“Hi everyone. I want to sincerely appreciate everybody for the care, love, and support thus far. At this juncture, I say goodbye to Kwara United,” Ejeh stated in his farewell message.
Ejeh initially joined Kwara United four years ago before leaving for a short loan spell in Sweden with Mjällby AIF.
He rejoined Kwara United in 2022 after his loan spell and has since been an integral part of the team.
During the 2023/24 season, Ejeh contributed significantly to the club’s performance, scoring five goals for the Harmony Boys.
As Ejeh moves on to new challenges, his contributions and presence will be missed by Kwara United and its supporters.
