Kwara United Superfan ‘Iya Oniguguru’ Receives N500,000 Donation

Kwara United’s iconic superfan, popularly known as “Iya Oniguguru,” has been gifted N500,000 by Ambassador Abdulfatai Yahaya Seriki in recognition of her unwavering support for the club.

The donation comes in the wake of Kwara United’s historic victory in the President Federation Cup, marking their first triumph in 49 years.

Iya Oniguguru’s vibrant presence and loyalty have made her a beloved figure among fans, with her celebratory photos going viral across social media after the club’s win.

Ambassador Seriki, a well-known All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftain and philanthropist from Ilorin, has long supported the team.

Ahead of the final, he pledged N10 million to the squad should they emerge victorious — a promise he fulfilled following their success.

This latest gesture to Iya Oniguguru adds a personal touch to the celebration, honoring not only the players but also the passionate supporters behind the team’s journey.
