Ladan Bosso conducts first training session with Barau FC ahead of NPFL season opener

Newly appointed Technical Adviser of Barau Football Club, Ladan Bosso, held his first official training session with the team on Monday, in preparation for the 2025/2026 Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) season despite ongoing disputes and public statements from Bayelsa United regarding his contractual status.

Bosso was formally presented to the squad by Club President Shawall Barau Jibrin and Chairman Ambassador Ibrahim Shitu Chanji, in the presence of board members, management staff, coaching crew, and other officials of the club.

The event comes in the wake of recent tension with Bayelsa United, who had earlier raised concerns and claimed Bosso was “missing” from their setup, even after his appointment by Barau FC was confirmed last month.

Club officials at Barau FC have reiterated their commitment to stability and professionalism as the new NPFL season approaches, expressing full confidence in Bosso’s experience and leadership to guide the team through a successful campaign.

The club’s opener against Enyimba FC promises to be a thrilling start to the season, as Barau FC look to make a strong impression under new technical direction.
