Leicester City boss hints at Kelechi Iheanacho’s return for Birmingham clash

There are strong indication that Nigerian winger, Kelechi Iheanacho could make are turn from injury and feature for Leicester City when they take on Birmingham in the English Championship clash on Monday.
The Super Eagles’ forward has been out of action for the Foxes due injury that ruled out of the Championship club’s last two fixtures.
His last game for the league leaders was back in earlier this month against West Brom which they won by 2-1.
Zambian striker, Patson Daka has ben deputizing for Iheanacho and his striker partner, Jamie Vardy who is also on treatment bed.
Speaking ahead of the match at Saint Andrews Stadium, Leicester manager, Enzo Marseca which stated that the Nigerian forward alongside Marc Albrighton, Yunus Akgün and Harry Souttar will be assessed ahead of the game on Monday.
He gave high hopes that a large number of injured players including Iheanacho could make the trip on Monday as he need more depth in squad heading to the busy festive periods with lots of games to be played.
“We are positive about their return, more of them should be ready for Monday but we are still assessing them.
“We need them more this time to cope with busy schedules but we are not doing too bad with the ones we have,” he said.
The former Manchester City player has played 18 times for Leicester this campaign with five goals and one assist to his credit.
The Foxes are on give games unbeaten run in the championship after they recovered from their back to back defeats last month and holding on to top spot with 52 points.
