Liverpool linked with Valencia winger David Otorbi

David Otorbi, the Spain and Nigeria-born winger currently at Valencia, has been linked with a move to Liverpool in the Premier League.

The 19-year-old right winger has featured in nine of Valencia’s 10 possible LaLiga matches this season, scoring once. He has started 30% of those games and played 38% of the available minutes.

Otorbi made the step up to Valencia’s senior side from the club’s B team on 1 July 2026, having progressed through the Spanish club’s youth system. He has made nine LaLiga appearances in total, with one goal and 345 minutes played.

The possible move would take him from LaLiga to the Premier League, although the available details do not indicate that an agreement has been reached or provide a transfer fee. Otorbi’s current market value is listed at €3.5m.

Born in Valencia on 16 October 2007, Otorbi holds Spanish and Nigerian nationality. He is contracted to Valencia until 30 June 2028, placing the club in a position to retain him beyond the current season.

Liverpool’s reported interest comes as Otorbi establishes himself in Valencia’s first team, where he wears the number 27 shirt and operates on the right side of the attack.
