Macleans Chinonyerem scores in third consecutive match for Lokomotiv Moscow

Nigeria forward, Macleans Chinonyerem scored in her third consecutive game for Russian Supreme Division Women’s side, Lokomotiv Moscow as her side secured a 3-0 away win over Zvezda 2005 on Saturday.
Macleans had scored in the first two opening games of the league season for the Moscow side against FK Yanisey and Ryazan as the team earned 2-0 and 3-0 wins.
It took 24 minutes for the 2022 Polish Ekstraliga top scorer to open the scoring for Lokomotiv as Laissa Nascimento Santos set her up for the first goal of the encounter.
A minute into the second half, Yana Sheina doubled the lead for Lokomotiv Moscow off Kristina Khorosheva’s assist.
Brazilian forward, Laissa made it 3-0 in the 55th minute to end the contest.
Macleans’ goal took her tally to four after three league games this season for Lokomotiv Moscow.
The win lifted Lokomotiv Moscow to the second position with a maximum of nine points after three games, the same points as Francisca Ordega’s CSKA Moscow which leads the log on superior goal difference.
Macleans and her team will next host FK Rostov in another league encounter on April 1.
