Manchester City continued their dominant form in the Premier League, securing a 2-0 victory against Leicester at the King Power Stadium on Saturday. Super Eagles duo Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho were in action for Leicester, with Iheanacho replacing Marc Albrighton in the 67th minute. Ahmed Musa remained absent from the squad. Gabriel Jesus and Kevin De Bruyne found the net for Manchester City in the 45th and 49th minutes, adding to their impressive performance prior to the international break with a 3-1 win against Arsenal.

The triumph marked City’s 11th consecutive win, maintaining an unbeaten record in the league this season. They lead the league table with 34 points after 12 games, while Leicester currently holds the 12th position with 13 points.

At Anfield, Liverpool showcased their prowess with a convincing 3-0 victory over Southampton. Sadio Mane, recovering from an injury sustained during the international break, featured in the starting lineup. Mohamed Salah’s brace in the 31st and 41st minutes, coupled with Philippe Coutinho’s strike in the 68th minute, secured the three points for Liverpool, placing them fifth on the table with 22 points.

Champions Chelsea displayed dominance at the Hawthorns, securing their eighth league win this season with a resounding 4-0 triumph over West Bromwich Albion. Goals from Alvaro Morata, Eden Hazard, and Marcos Alonso showcased Chelsea’s attacking prowess, propelling them to the second spot on the table with 25 points, nine points behind leaders Manchester City.

In other results, Bournemouth outplayed Huddersfield 4-0, Burnley secured a 2-0 victory against Swansea at Turf Moor, and Everton managed a 2-2 draw against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.
