Milan stars, including Leao, react to Adli’s season debut – pictures

Rafael Leao, Olivier Giroud and Ismael Bennacer publicly congratulated Yacine Adli on his season debut towards Cagliari on Wednesday.

The French midfielder began as a deep-lying playmaker, changing the injured Rade Krunic in the midst of the pitch towards the Rossoblu.

He was changed after 58 minutes, however Italian sports activities papers positively judged the Frenchman. La Gazzetta dello Spor rated him 7/10, whereas Tuttosport and Il Corriere dello Sport gave him 6/10.

His season debut for the Rossoneri was convincing, even by taking a look at his teammates’ reactions. Bennacer, Leao and Giroud publicly praised Adli with Instagram tales the 23-year-old shared on his account.

“I’m happy with you,” wrote Giroud in French; Bennacer added: “It’s your second” and Leao commented on Adli’s efficiency with only one phrase: “Class.”
