Mohammed Magin highlights importance of Niger Tornadoes’ win over Doma United

Acting Technical Adviser of Niger Tornadoes, Mohammed Magin, has emphasized the significance of his team’s 2-0 victory over Doma United in Matchday 31 of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), describing it as a relief and morale booster.
The duo of Mohammed Hussein and Bashir Usman secured both goals in the first half, leading the Ikon Allah Boys to a dominant win at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium in Kaduna on Sunday.
Magin praised his players for their excellent performance, acknowledging that the result was crucial for the team as they prepare for two consecutive away fixtures against Remo Stars and Plateau United.
“I’m really happy for this, and we are grateful to God for it. I also want to appreciate the players for this important win,” Magin said.
“They gave a good account of themselves, and those early goals helped us dictate the game as we wanted. This win is good for us, especially considering that we have two away games coming up after this. It’s a very important victory,” he added.
When asked about his team’s prospects in the upcoming away fixtures, Magin expressed confidence in their ability to secure positive results.
“Yes, I believe we can. Football is full of surprises. Even in the away games we won, we prepared very well for them.
“I believe we stand a good chance of getting something from those two games, but we must be ready to give it our all and also score, as you know you can’t win a game without scoring,” he explained.
Niger Tornadoes currently sit in 10th place on the league table with 42 points from 30 games.
