Monday Odigie unmoved by Bendel Insurance’s latest slip up against Kwara United

Monday Odigie has called for calm among fans of Bendel Insurance as he assured of his side’s resurgence from their recent slip ups following another 1-1 draw with Kwara United on Saturday.

The Benin Arsenals have maintained their fantastic unbeaten form, hitting 13 games but they are yet to record victory since the start of second stanza of the Nigeria Premier Football League.

In four straight matches, Insurance have recorded draws in all, including a comeback 1-1 draw against Kwara United in Benin thanks to Deputy Echeta’s deflected effort to cancel Mohammed Alao’s goal for Kwara United.

The former Nigeria U17 gaffer is untroubled by their recent dip in form, as he expects to get better in coming games.

“Truly we are worried about it, and it is expected that clubs will get to understand us better and how we play,” Odigie told Nigeriafootball.ng.

“It rest on us to find a way to correct our mistakes, of keeping the lead and manage the game well enough, its our responsibility and we will work on it.”

Insurance still keeping to top of the log in Group A with 27 points, four ahead of second placed Akwa United.

The Benin Arsenal will be guest to Remo Stars next weekend in Ikenne.
