Moses Simon: Nigeria winger arrives Portugal with Nantes for training camp

Nigeria forward Moses Simon and his Nantes’ teammates arrived in Faro, Portugal, on Sunday night for a training tour ahead of remaining French season resumption.

The French Ligue 1 is currently on international break due to the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar and the Canaries will use the training camp to improve their build up ahead of league restart before the end of this month.

Nantes has been having difficult spell since the commencement of the 2022/23 season. Despite this, Simon has been a key player for the club scoring vital goals that have kept the team in the race to stay afloat in the elite division.

The league is scheduled to resume on the 28th of December and the Yellow and Greens will travel away to Troyes.

Before then, Antoine Kombouare’s side will return to France from the Faro tour for a friendly against Laval on December 16 before taking on Ligue 1 club, Lorient in another friendly five days later.
