NALMMA Commends NNL Leadership on Successful 2024/25 League Campaign

The Nigerian National League Media Managers Association (NALMMA) has commended the leadership of the Nigeria National League (NNL) for the successful completion of the 2024/25 league season.

In a statement jointly signed by NALMMA President, Abdulsalam Ibrahim Imam, and Secretary, Dr. Ikenna Nwokedi, the association applauded the commitment and professionalism of the NNL Chairman, Chief George Aluo, and his team for steering the league through a productive and well-organized season.

The association highlighted key improvements during the campaign, including enhanced officiating by match officials, increased fan turnout at match venues, and a more disciplined and positive atmosphere created by supporters throughout the season.

NALMMA also lauded the NNL’s effort in securing the Stephen Keshi Stadium in Asaba as the host venue for the 2025 Super 8 Playoffs, scheduled to hold from July 5th to 12th. Special commendation was extended to the Executive Governor of Delta State, H.E. Sheriff Oborevwori, for his unwavering support for sports development, particularly through football.

As preparations for the Super 8 intensify, the association urged all participating clubs to maintain a high level of performance and fair play, ensuring that the most deserving teams gain promotion to the elite Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) for the 2025/26 season.

The Super 8 will feature top contenders from the league’s conference: Warri Wolves, Crown FC (Ogbomosho), Kun Khalifat FC (Owerri), Osun United FC, Wikki Tourists FC (Bauchi), Yobe Desert Stars, Doma United FC (Gombe), and Barau FC (Kano).
