By Saheed Afolabi
Nasarawa Amazons head coach, Christopher Danjuma assures his side will improve their conversion rate to record victory against Ibom Angels in Wednesday’s Nigeria Women’s Football League Premiership encounter.
The Solid Babes will be hoping to get back to winning ways after their disappointing 1-0 home loss to Robo Queens and the defeat leaves their Super Six qualification dream hanging in the balance.
The two-time NWFL title winning gaffer is poised to guide his side back to winning ways but insists they have to be clinical upfront in order to avoid wasting chances, beginning against their Uyo based opponents.
“We lost six points at home which has put us in a position to put everything we have on board, we want to make sure we gain the six points anywhere to ultimately qualify for the Super Six,” Danjuma told NigeriaFootball.ng.
“The game against Ibom Angels is like having one bullet to save your life or the moment, so we have to aim well and make sure we don’t misfire or miss shoot. “Super Six is still achievable, it’s what you have learnt from your last match and going forward what’s the goals you have set for yourself.”
Nasarawa Amazons are fourth on the NWFL Premiership abridged group B with 13 points from nine matches. A win for the Solid Babes against Ibom Angels will boost their qualification bid for the Super Six playoffs from Group B.
