NFF Congress approve N14.5 billion budget for year 2024

The 79th congress of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF has approved over 14 Billion Naira as budget expenditure for the year 2024.

The figure which stood at N14,494,469,293.00 (Fourteen Billion, Four Hundred and Ninety-Four Million, Four Hundred and Sixty-Nine Thousand and Two Hundred and Ninety-Three Naira) only was part of the federation’s far reaching decisions made at the congress held on Sunday in Uyo, Akwa Ibom State.

“The Congress approved the Nigeria Football Federation’s 2024 Budget proposal of the sum of N14,494,469,293.00 (Fourteen Billion, Four Hundred and Ninety-Four Million, Four Hundred and Sixty-Nine Thousand and Two Hundred and Ninety-Three Naira) only,” the federation said in a press statement.

Surprisingly, the federation did not disclose how 2023 budget was expended to the Congress. The congress also passed a vote of confidence on the BFF Executive Committee led by president, Ibrahim Musa Gusau.
