NFF President Gusau tasks club owners on early NPFL season kick off

President of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau has urged the leadership of Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL club owners association to work towards kick starting new season as scheduled in a bid to meet the global standard.
On Monday, Alhaji Gusau received the newly elected executives of the association in his office and led by new chairman, Barrister Okey Kpalukwu, the NFF President asked that body work in synergy with the board of Nigeria Premier League to organize the topflight worthy of emulation.
“Gentlemen, I am delighted to know that you conducted your elections peacefully and in a very matured manner today, this gives me hope that you’re ready for the assignment at hand,” NFF president told media.
“Please I will be following  your activities as Club Owners with keen interest because the strength of any football playing nation is the domestic league.
“You’ve started very well and I urge you to continue this way. Please don’t give room for distractions and you must stay united. Whenever I have cause to meet with you, let it be just 20 of you.”
