NFF Referees Committee suspends three NPFL match officials

The Nigeria Football Federation Referees Appointment Committee have suspended two referees and one assistant referee from all NPFL related activities until they appear before the panel.
This information is made available on Tuesday to the Nigeria Referees Association (NRA) signed by the Secretary of the NFF Referees Committee, Hon Sani Zubairu (Fifa rtd).
“The following Referees are hereby suspended until they appear before the Referee’s Committee for explanation on what happened in their matches,” the memo reads.
The centre referee and one of his assistants that officiated the Shooting Stars match against Kwara United on matchday two at the Lekan Salami Stadium, Adamasingba, Ndubuisi Ukoh (Imo) and Assistant Referee II Otuwho Morrison (Delta) have been suspended.
Also affected is Faro Abdulrahman, who was in charge of the game between Rivers United and Niger Tornadoes on matchday three played on Tuesday at the Adokiye Amiesimaka Stadium.
The three officials have been mandated to appear before the referee’s committee for explanation on what happened in the matches.
