Niger Tornadoes agree terms with Hamza Abara to become new manager

Nigeria Premier Football League, NPFL side, Niger Tornadoes are set to name young and experienced Coach Hamza Abara as their new technical adviser for the new season.
Abara will be making a second coming to the Ikon Allah Boys, having managed the club in the 2018 NPFL season when the club suffered relegation to the second division.
According to Media director of Tornadoes, Usman Garba Kuta, Abara has met with the officials of the club at the club’s secretariat and agreed on personal terms.
He will replacing Coach Abubakar Bala who left the club at the end of last season to join fellow Premier league side, Lobi Stars.
Abara who was with Elkanemi Warriors last season will be working with Coach Mohammed Majin as Chief Coach, Mohammed Abubakar Ndanusa as the goalkeeper trainer, the assistant coaches are; Tukur Mohammed, Isiyaku Iliyasu, Umar Faruk Hussaini and Christopher Bernard Ishaya.
He has handled Sokoto United in the past and was Chief Coach at Enyimba International FC and Plateau United respectively.
The young Minna-based tactician joined Elkanemi Warriors last season in a move to save them from relegation which was not possible.
Coach Abara is expected to be unveiled on Wednesday in Minna and will begin preparations for the 2023/2024 NPFL season in earnest.
The management of Niger Tornadoes has also approved the appointment of technical crew for the Feeder Coach Nuhu Ahmed Babayo as the Chief Coach.
Other assistant coaches for the feeder team are; Ibrahim Mohammed Munch, Mohammed Ibrahim Baro, Lawal Mohammed Kuta, Ibrahim Aliyu, Maikudi Ayawa, Bello Mohammed as a goalkeeper trainer, and Ibrahim Musa.
