Nigeria women’s U-20 national team will play the first match of the women’s football event at the 2023 African Games in Ghana.
Christopher Danjuma’s side will face Morocco in the first match at the Cape Coast Stadium on March 8, 2024.
This will be followed by two games on March 9 when host Ghana faces Ethiopia.
Tanzania and Uganda will also trace tackles on March 9.
Since Cameroon withdrew from the women’s football event of the African Games, Nigeria will play two group games.
On March 11, 2024, the Falconets will meet Senegal in their second group game.
The top two teams from the group will progress to the semi-final scheduled for March 18.
The third-place match is slated for March 21, the same day when the final match will take place.
Nigeria won the gold medal the last time out in 2019.
