Nigeria dominate top 10 U20 AFCON goals of the tournament shortlist

The Nigeria U20 men’s national team did not score many goals like their West African brothers from Senegal but they did score some beauties worthy of the nomination for of the best U20 Africa Cup of Nations goals.
Following the conclusion of the U20 Afcon, the Confederation of African Football (CAF), through sponsors Ixbet has picked three of the Flying Eagles’ goals among the Top 10 goals of the just continent’s youth tournament.
In no particular order, Nigeria’s third goal in their 4-0 win against the Young Carthage Eagles of Tunisia scored by Jude Sunday made the list.
The winger dribbled past three Tunisian defenders before unleashing a powerful shot into the net. Also listed was Ibrahim Muhammad’s blistering strike from the edge of the box in a 2-0 victory against Mozambique.
Making the final spot was Nigeria’s opening goal of the tournament which came against the hosts, Egypt. A powerful header by left-back Solomon Agbalaka as Flyings Eagles defeated Egypt 1-0.
Nigeria finished third in the tournament scoring a total of eight goals while conceding two goals.
