Nigeria get foes ahead of 2023/2024 CAF African Schools Football Championship

The draw for the 2023/2024 CAF African Schools Football Championship has been made with the Nigerian boys and girls team knowing their opponents ahead of their maiden participation in the tournament.
In the boy’s category, Nigeria is in Group A alongside Togo and Ghana.
Group B houses Burkian Faso and Benin Republic.
For the girls category, the same groupings were applied with Nigeria in Group A to face Togo and Ghana at the zonal level.
The WAFU-B zonal tournament is scheduled in Lomé, Togo, from November 23 to 26, 2023.
Six teams from West Africa Zone B (WAFU-B) will battle it out to determine the winner and the zone representative at the main tournament in April 2024.
This will be the second edition of the Championship which commenced last year (2022).
Nigeria didn’t participate in the maiden edition of the championship which would discover future stars for the nation and the continent.
