Nigeria midfielder Christy Ucheibe gifts Governor Alex Otti signed jerseys

Nigeria star Christy Uchiebe is the latest to visit a top government official following an impressive 2023 Women’s World Cup outing in Australia and New Zealand.
The 22-year-old played all four games as Nigeria crashed on penalties shootout in the round of 26 against England.
Uchiebe visited Abia State Governor Alex Otti with her signed jerseys for club and country and the midfielder recently signed a contract extension with Portuguese giants Benfica, and will be returning to her club ahead of the start of the new season.
Meanwhile, her visit to Governor Otti comes after her colleagues Chiamaka Nnadozie, Tochukwu Oluehi, Osinachi Ohale, and Desire Oparanozie teamed up with Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State.
Roafiat Imuran and Ajibade Rasheedat visited governor Adeleke of Osun State while governor Sanwo-Olu received Asisat Oshoala, Monday Gift, and Ajibade in Lagos State.
The First Lady of Nigeria, Oluremi Tinubu also received Onome Ebi and Tochukwu Oluehi at the Presidential Villa.
With her defensive masterclass in the midfield, Uchribe helped the Super Falcons ranked 10th out of 32 teams at the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
