Nigeria star Deborah Abiodun at the double in Pittsburg Panthers ruthless win

Nigeria international Deborah Abiodun has continued her great form as she bagged a brace in the Pittsburg Panthers’ comfortable 6-1 win over Duquesne Dukes on Friday, September 1, 2023.
The 19-year-old Nigerian midfielder is on a tear in the American women’s college soccer league and
Playing in front of 939 fans at the Ambrose Urbanic Field, Abiodun had her best performance since joining the Pittsburg Panthers.
After scoring her first goal in their last game, Randy Waldrum kept Abiodun in the starting lineup and the 19-year rewarded the tactician for keeping faith in her as she continued her impressive form.
Amanda West scored two goals to gift Pittsburg Panthers a 2-1 lead at the break vs. Duquesne Dukes.
Abiodun would score the third goal of the game for the Pittsburg Panthers from a Sarah Schupanksy corner-kick spill.
Samiah Phiri then scored to give Pittsburg Panthers a 4-1 lead before Abiodun added a fifth from a Keera Melenhors assist. Anna Bout .then completed the 6-1 rout.

With her latest brace, the Super Falcons midfielder has now scored thrice for her American Women’s College team.
Abiodun will now look forward to more when Pittsburgh Panthers take on Bowling Green at the Ambrose Urbanic Field on Sunday, September 3, 2023.
