Nigeria star Peter Olayinka receives majestic farewell gift from Slavia Prague

Nigeria forward, Peter Olayinka has been blown away by the valuable gift he got from Slavia Prague as he departs the club.

Olayinka’s parting gift which symbolized his achievements and contributions to the club as the gift which was named Olayincup considering his heroic contribution to the success of Slávisté (The Slavists).

After serving Slavia Prague for five years, Olayinka scored 50 goals in 182 matches and providing 26 assists in the process.

Olayinka piloted his way to the top of Slavia Prague most influential players as he contributed to the winning of seven trophies for the club, with the gift given to Olayinka is made up of 82 meticulously design parts.

Reacting to the gift, Olayinka said it was a rude shock to him as he never expected it and he loves it.

“I value this cup very much; I didn’t expect anything like this at all,” Olayinka told Soccernet.

“It was a shock. I love it. When I saw it for the first time, I was moved. Hats off to whoever made it.

“It’s incredibly heavy; I’ll see how it fits on the plane (laughs). But I love every part of it.”
