In a promising move, Nigerian defender Stephen Eze expressed his enthusiasm after officially joining Bulgarian top-tier club Lokomotiv Plovdiv. The unveiling ceremony took place on Thursday, marking Eze’s two-year commitment to the club. Eze, a former standout player for Sunshine Stars, Lobi Stars, and FC IfeanyiUbah, caught the attention of Lokomotiv Plovdiv during the African Nations Championship (CHAN) in Morocco, where he played a pivotal role in Nigeria’s silver-winning campaign.

Eze, along with compatriot Dayo Ojo, earned recognition by being named in the 2018 African Nations Championship (CHAN) Team of the Tournament. With a stellar track record, Eze is poised to make his home debut for Lokomotiv Plovdiv in a crucial league game against OFK Pirin on Sunday.
