In a remarkable display of Nigerian talent on the European football stage, Gbolahan Salami delivered a stellar performance, securing a crucial goal in KuPS’ 3-1 victory over VPS in the Finnish League. Meanwhile, in the German Bundesliga, Super Eagles defender Leon Balogun showcased resilience, completing a full 90 minutes for FSV Mainz in their 4-0 away defeat to Bayern Munich. Despite briefly leaving the field for treatment after a knock, Balogun returned to contribute valiantly to his team’s effort.
