The renowned Nigerian artist once again displayed his captivating vocal talents at the grand event, which honored English Premier League players for their exceptional performances during the 2022/23 season.
His electrifying musical performance left an indelible mark, turning the award gala into an unforgettable evening of celebration and talent.
The DMW label chief’s appearances on one of the biggest stages of English football continue to show the penetration of Afrobeats into mainstream markets abroad.
O.B.O. took center stage and treated the audience to a live rendition of “Unavailable,” a track from his recently released Timeless Album, infusing the award night with his signature energetic performance.
With Nigerian artists like Davido at the World Cup and now the PFA awards ceremony and Burna Boy at the UEFA Champions League final, the Nigerian invasion into other markets is well and truly underway and can only get bigger.

Meanwhile, before his performance, the global star linked up with Manchester United, receiving a customized jersey from the club with the number 7 and Davido written boldly, perhaps in honor of his good friend Cristiano Ronaldo.
