Nigerian Prodigy El Amin Ekundayo Secures Two-Year Deal with Chicago Magic Programme

Nigeria’s emerging football talent, El Amin Ekundayo, has inked a significant two-year deal with the renowned American soccer outfit, Chicago Magic. The left-winger’s journey to Chicago Magic commenced after catching the eye of scouts during trials organized by Droom Soccer Academy at the National Stadium, Surulere, Lagos.
Ekundayo’s standout performance among more than 200 young footballers from across Nigeria earned him the opportunity to join Chicago Magic, an affiliate of French football giants Paris Saint-Germain. His two-year stint with the American club could potentially pave the way for a subsequent move to German club Hannover, contingent on his on-field achievements.
Chicago Magic Soccer Club operates as a highly competitive soccer program designed to foster the development of youth players. By providing expert coaching and cultivating a conducive environment for players to thrive, the club aims to unlock the true potential of emerging talents through various competitive platforms.
Akporobaro Emmanuel, the proprietor of Droom Soccer Academy and a subsidiary of Jedipel Groups, expressed confidence in Ekundayo’s prospects at his new club, stating, “Al Amin Ekundayo is a top talent, and we expect him to make a huge impact over there in the United States of America.” Emmanuel further emphasized Ekundayo’s outstanding performance during the Lagos trials, asserting that the young player has the potential to be a positive force in Nigerian football’s future.
