NNL 25: Kun Khalifat Secure Super 8 Spot After Draw With Godswill Akpabio United

Kun Khalifat FC have booked their place in the Nigeria National League (NNL) Super 8 playoffs after a 1-1 draw against Godswill Akpabio United at the Dan Anyiam Stadium on Saturday.

The Imo-based side, currently topping the Southern Conference Group B with 37 points and one game left to play, are now guaranteed a shot at promotion to the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL).

The battle for the second playoff spot in the group remains fierce, with Osun United sitting second on 33 points—just two points ahead of Sporting Lagos and Rovers FC.

The top two teams from each of the four NNL groups will qualify for the Super 8, where the top four clubs will secure promotion to the NPFL.

Last season, Beyond Limit Football Academy and Nasarawa United were among the teams that earned promotion through the playoffs.
