NNL: Festus Allen targets victory as Gateway United face ABS in Ilorin

Gateway United Technical Adviser, Festus Allen, is optimistic about his team’s chances as they prepare for a crucial encounter against Abubakar Bukola Saraki (ABS) FC in Matchday Seven of the Nigeria National League (NNL) on Saturday.
The Ogun State-based club is looking to end their difficult run in the league and secure a much-needed win when they visit the Kwara State Stadium in Ilorin to face ABS FC.
Allen, who has previously coached ABS, emphasized that his side has been well-prepared for the match, aiming to turn around their fortunes in Group B, where they currently sit at the bottom of the table.
“We are not leaving Ilorin without a victory. Nothing short of three points will be acceptable for us,” Allen said ahead of the game.
“We will approach the match with an attacking mindset, and the players have been responding well to training.”
Gateway United will be hoping to build on their preparation and secure a positive result in what promises to be a challenging encounter.
