NPFL 23: Kwara United will get better against Bendel Insurance – Ezekiel Tamara

Ezekiel Tamara, Kwara United’s midfielder believes his side will continue to make better improvement following the valuable point secured in the Nigeria Premier Football encounter against Shooting Stars on Thursday.

Smarting from a goalless draw at home against Gombe United, the Harmony Boys sought to avoid defeat in Ibadan and forced the Oluyole Warriors to a goaless draw at the Lekan Salami Stadium.

Following the win, Tamara who was handed the starting place in the pulsating duel, admits that the point was the needed impetus to boost the team’s confidence, assuring that his side will get better from then on.

“My domestic league debut for Kwara United. Happy to help my team come away with a point in Ibadan,” he told media.

“Buzzing the midfield with almost 10,000 fans watching, an experience I will never forget. We needed this and will use it to get better in our next games,” he said.

Kwara United have garnered two points from two games and they will be hosting Group A leaders Bendel Insurance of Benin in their next match billed for Adamasingba Stadium in Ibadan.
