Head Coach of Doma United, Akinade Onigbinde has attributed his side’s 2-0 defeat to Sunshine Stars in the Matchday 16 of Nigeria Premier Football League to poor officiating.
Isaac Emmanuel and Opeoluwa Olufemi scored in both halves for Sunshine Stars to inflict a back to back away loss in the league.
Onigbinde who rejected the results as not a true reflection of his side’s performance advocated a stiffer sanctions on match officials who are incapable of discharging their duties.
“I’m not really pleased with the officiating of our match against Sunshine Stars, we were not suppose to lose this match if it was well handled,” the manager told media.
“The NRA needs to work harder on the officials that failed in the discharge of their duties.
“Doma United as well will work on the lapses identified in the game going forward,” he said.
Doma United have recorded 28 points from 16 matches and ended the year third on the log.
