NPFL: Chinedu Ufere lauds technical crew after Sporting Lagos win over Akwa United

Sporting Lagos star, Chinedu Ufere has lauded the efforts of the team’s technical crew in their hard fought 2-1 win  against Akwa United at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan.

The Noisy Lagosians built on their previous home performances to come from a goal down and defeat them.

Ufere believes the fans played a crucial role in well deserved win, while attributing the triumph to the changes rang by the technical crew in the second half.

“Even when they scored, if you see the energy, the fans were massive, all kudos to them. They cheered us,” Chinedu told Nigeriafootball.ng exclusively.

“We were really happy when we got the first goal and the second goal came and we thank God, we didn’t do anything bad, we gave it all and you can see, everyone gave their best.

“It was a very good energy from the bench and we were really excited. The changes were very tactical, they (Substitutes) did their best and they brought in a lot of energy even when the hope was already lost. They strengthened us from the midfield to attack and the captain playing from right fullback was very impressive.”

Sporting Lagos seat on the 13th position with 27 points from 22 matches and will face Doma United in their next game on March 2 in Gombe.
