NPFL club owners salutes Paul Bassey over election as ACA vice president

Chairman of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) club owners, Okey Kpalukwu has saluted the chairman of Akwa United, Paul Bassey over his election as the vice president of the recently launched African Clubs Association (ACA).
Kpalukwu described Bassey as a well respected personality in global football, noting that Bassey experience will be a huge advantage in steering the ship of ACA.
“Elder Paul Bassey is a man that is highly respected in the game of football globally,” Kpalukwu was quoted by Sports Village Square.
“We all know his contributions to the Confederation of African Football (CAF), Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) and Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) committees.
“His experience will be needed in this new body that was launched by CAF to give clubs in Africa a voice in matters that concerns them on the continent.
“We salute and wish him all the very best. We know he will represent us and Nigeria very well.”
The ACA will focus on giving Africa clubs a voice in the continent.
