NPFL: Enugu Rangers can still turn things around – Magut Mbwas

Magut Mbwas expects every department of Enugu Rangers to gear up after a disappointing 2-0 home loss in their Nigeria Premier Football League opening encounter against Abia Warriors on Sunday.

A 41st minute goal from Kalu Nweke and a late goal from Monday Yakubu sealed the opening defeat for Rangers and the Rangers assistant coach blamed their poor outing on lack of good performance in the preseason.

“Actually everybody knows that after coming from this kind of loss, irrespective, every department of rangers should gear up especially the players and we still believe in them”, Mbwas told media.

“I know this is just week one we can go to Jos and turn around things by his grace. Well, that particular goal cost a lot of things and like you said we all know that we didn’t do well in the preseason and we came back and changed the tempo and the boys responded well.”
