Thursday’s Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Matchday 26 clash between Rivers United and Katsina United was disrupted.
The game was called off due to heavy rainfall, with the score currently at 1-0 in favour of the Port Harcourt-based side.
The encounter took place at the Adokiye Amesiamaka Stadium, Port Harcourt.
Ubong Friday’s goal separated both sides before the game was disrupted.
The second half of the match will resume on Friday, at 9:00 am.
The Pride of Rivers needs a win to stay in battle for continental spots and can reduce Remo Stars’ lead to nine points with victory and level on point with Shooting Stars Sports Club in the second spot.
