NPFL: Junior Lokosa describes scoring brace against Kano Pillars as emotional

Sporting Lagos striker, Junior Lokosa has described his brace against his former side, Kano Pillars as emotional considering the past relationship he had with the Northern club.
A Lokosa brace and a strike from Jonathan Alukwu condemned the Sai Masu Gida side to a thumping defeat at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena, Onikan.
The Super Eagles forward expressed excitement scoring against Kano Pillars as it ended his four-match goal drought.
Despite his excitement, Lokosa insists that he felt bad to scoring against his former side, while appreciated the fans for their support which kept him going.
“I felt very happy scoring for my team Sporting Lagos, Kano Pillars is also my team,” he told the Press.
“The name I have today is from Kano Pillars, it is emotional for me and I feel pained but this is my job.
“I want to appreciate the fans for the support throughout the encounter.”
It was at Kano Pillars that Lokosa won the NPFL golden boot in 2018 and he has gone on to ink his name as a legend of the Nigeria football topflight league.
Heartland will visit the Noisy Lagosians at their Mobolaji Johnson Arena fortress on November 12 in their next NPFL game.
