NPFL: Kwara United engages Tunde Sanni as chief coach

In a bid to improve technical ability that will result to getting good results, management of Kwara United have contracted former captain and coach of the team, Tunde Sanni as Chief Coach.
Sanni will assist technical adviser Kabir Dogo of the team till the end of Nigeria Premier Football League season.
Kwara United have had a dismally start to the season under Dogo churning out unimpressive results.
Their last match was a horrible 2-0 home loss to Lobi Stars which has further deepen their crisis and have a telling implications on their status in the league.
Coach Sanni who was a lethal striker in his days was until his appointment, Chief Coach of Abia Warriors and he’s also the current Kwara State Chairman, Nigeria Football Coaches Association (NFCA).
Coach Alao, Olaniyi Mukaila Shittu also retain their positions as goalkeeper Trainer and assistant coach.
Coach Bolaji Abdulkadri will now be in charge of Kwara United junior team.
The Chairman of the Club, Kumbi Titiloye said that the arrangements became necessary in order to return the team to winning ways, even as he charged the players and the technical crew to brace up, to compensate for the commitment of the government and stakeholders.
“I have never witnessed the type of performance you are putting up in my five years in charge,” he queried.
“How do you repay the government and the stakeholders for the hard earned tax payers money being spent on the team?.”
Captains of the team, Bamidele Aiyenugba and Kabir Balogun and the other players pledged to promote unity and togetherness, and be committed to the cause of the team.
Kwara United will next take on Heartland on Sunday in continuation of the league.
