NPFL: Ladan Bosso hails Bayelsa United’s resurgence after unbeaten run

Bayelsa United head coach, Ladan Bosso, has praised his team’s recent form in the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL), describing their seven-game unbeaten run as a reflection of their growing resolve and improved performances.
The Prosperity Boys have climbed to ninth place on the NPFL table with 45 points from 33 matches, a remarkable turnaround after a sluggish start to the campaign.
Speaking to the club’s media team, Bosso said the recent results serve as a warning to opponents that Bayelsa United have evolved into a different side.
“The last three matches in the league are just a message to our opponents that Bayelsa United is not the same team they played at the start of the season,” he said.
Bosso also reflected on the points dropped earlier in the season, suggesting that the club could have been in title contention had they begun stronger.
“If you look at the points that were lost at the start of the season and compare them to what we are picking up now, if we had maintained or been able to keep our points, we could have been fighting for the league title now,” he added.
With just five matches remaining in the season, Bosso has promised that his side will continue to push and maintain their positive momentum.
